These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Raincity Board Co. ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Raincity Board Co. operates a premium board gaming facility in Canada, offering:

• Private gaming rooms and smart gaming table rentals
• Workshop sessions and educational gaming programs
• Tournament events and competitive gaming opportunities

• Personal gaming consultation and recommendation services
• Retail sales of board games and gaming accessories

Our services are designed to provide an exceptional gaming experience for enthusiasts of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced strategy gamers.

3. Membership and Account Terms

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain services, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Membership Tiers

We offer multiple membership tiers (Basic Explorer, Premium Gamer, Elite Champion) with varying benefits and access levels. Membership fees are charged monthly and are non-refundable except as required by law.

3.3 Age Requirements

Members must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Minors aged 13-17 must have parental consent. Children under 13 may use our facilities only when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

4. Facility Usage Rules

4.1 General Conduct

All members and visitors must:

• Treat all games, equipment, and facility property with respect
• Maintain appropriate behavior and language at all times
• Follow staff instructions and facility policies
• Respect other players and maintain good sportsmanship
• Keep personal belongings secure and not leave them unattended

4.2 Game Care and Responsibility

Members are responsible for any damage to games or equipment during their use. Costs for replacement or repair of damaged items will be charged to the member's account. We ask all users to handle games carefully and report any missing pieces or damage immediately.

4.3 Reservations and Cancellations

Private room reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Workshop cancellations require 48 hours notice. No-shows may result in charges and potential restrictions on future bookings.

5. Payment Terms

All membership fees, room rentals, and purchases must be paid in advance. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods. Recurring membership charges will be automatically processed on your monthly anniversary date.

Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance. Members may cancel their membership before the next billing cycle to avoid increased rates. All sales are final unless the product is defective or we made an error in your order.

Late payment may result in suspension of services. Accounts with outstanding balances for more than 60 days may be terminated, and collection efforts may be initiated.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on our website and in our facility, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and game descriptions, is the property of Raincity Board Co. or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Board games in our library are owned by Raincity Board Co. and are licensed for use within our facility only. Members may not remove games from the premises without explicit written permission.

Any content you create or share in our facility or on our platforms (reviews, photos, etc.) grants us a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and distribute such content for promotional purposes.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may use cameras and recording equipment in public areas of our facility for security purposes. Private gaming rooms are not monitored unless specifically requested for tournament recording purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Raincity Board Co. provides services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. Members use our facilities at their own risk and are encouraged to secure valuable items.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate membership at any time. Members may cancel through their account dashboard or by contacting customer service. We may terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, or disruptive behavior.

Upon termination, access to member benefits and services will cease immediately. No refunds will be provided for unused portions of membership periods, except as required by law.

Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution will survive termination of these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in Vancouver, BC.

Before initiating arbitration, parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation. If informal resolution fails, disputes will be settled by a single arbitrator under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre.
